Well, the end came round faster than I thought! This time of year is always hectic so I want to thank you for taking the time to join me in some stitching and putting up with me jabbering on.
I hope that you have enjoyed my little pattern and will hang it with pride.

EDIT - I forgot to do my French knots!
After the video I unpicked the felt circle, popped on some lovely French knot baubles and replaced the backing.
Ta dah!
Hurrah it's week 3 of the sewalong and time for my favourite parts of the design - the ornaments! It took me a few goes until I was happy with my stitching (don't be afraid to unstitch!) but now I LOVE them. Strange that a satin stitch Christmas pudding should make anyone this happy!

How is it the second Sunday in December already?! As soon as the advent calendar countdown starts I could swear time speeds up..
Anyway, I hope you are enjoying the stitchalong so far. Thanks to those of you who have shared your work with me - it's so lovely to see!
This week we will be doing more satin stitch and French knots, before moving on to fly stitch, stem stitch and detached chain stitch. More detailed videos on all of these stitches can be found on my YouTube channel.
I apologise in advance for this week's video as my house has been struck down with illness. At times my voice sounds like a mixture of Barry White and Kermit.
